Artist Joaquin Sanchez explains, "My Paintings represent my release from the inner pain due to recent Cancer. Either I paint the darkness that I wish to release from my body, or I paint a place of tranquility that I can escape to a happier place with birds, water, the desert, by leaving the pain behind. I some of my painting the birds signify the freeness of flight that can take me to the happier place.
